Part of the building is an original 16th Century hacienda that was enlarged in the 1960's to create an unusual mix of old world charm and modern convenience. Directly in front of the hotel is the 16th Century Church of San Cristobal, a fine example of the workmanship and stone-carving that Puebla is famous for.

You'll find us right on the corner of 4 Norte and 6 Oriente, the famous "sweet street", which makes it so easy to shop for the world-renowned sweet-potato candies, as well as hundreds of other regional delights. Other great shopping can be found just steps away, including the many talavera pottery shops.
